Who pays for the service?

-OT assessments will be paid for by the individual client. The client will be billed an hourly rate. The rate, and estimated time required for the service will be discussed and agreed upon before the OT service begins.

How much will the OT assessment cost?

The cost is variable, depending on the complexity of needs. Some straightforward assessments can take as little as 2 hours, other assessments require several visits and several hours of paperwork, taking upwards of 7 hours. The therapist will give you an estimation with regards to the total cost of the service during your first visit.

What you see clients that live outside of Regina?

The short answer is yes! However, client’s will be required to pay the therapists’ hourly rate for the time spent travelling outside of Regina.

Will my insurance pay for the OT assessment?

-Maybe. It is worth asking them.

Are OT assessments a deductible medical expense for income tax purposes?

-Yes.
