She brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of home assessments, seating and wheelchair assessments. Her primary work experience has been in the community, having worked in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta, as well as in Regina, Saskatchewan. Cathy enjoys working with clients in their homes- adapting their environments to improve their safety and ability to complete their day to day tasks. Cathy also has worked extensively with ordering wheelchairs- (manual, power, tilt in space, and ultralight chairs). She is able to order chairs through the government program Saskatchewan Abilities Council (SAC). She will be able to help you determine which wheelchair would be right for you, and make sure the seating components are setup and adjusted so that you will be comfortable in the ordered wheelchair. Cathy's goal is to have her client's be as independent as possible with accessing their home and community, using the proper equipment to get them there.
